Darin hit the snow a few times the first
day. A few good yard sales in there. It was good entertainment. hehe The best part was when
this girl stopped to ask him if he needed help with his skis!
Ok so it wasn't a really a blizzard, but it was
good for us. :) Overnight it had snowed really hard and put a foot
and half on the ground! It was pretty good powder for the East
coast. Darin and I were really ready to jump on the slopes.
The day started out snowing pretty hard and slowly got lighter and
lighter. By the end of the day it was absolutely perfect!
We were quite worn out unfortunately, so we headed out around 2
instead of pushing it till the slopes closed.
Darin had this orange-ish, red-ish cap on his head and I forgot mine
at home, so I bought a BRIGHT red cap to make his look less girly.
hehe As you could tell in the picture by the map, I had put on a
face-neck guard as well. It was cold going down the mountain in
the morning! After every run, I had to pick the icicles out of
my goatee on the way back up. ;)
