For the second year I went skiing for the day with CrossCurrent. What a great day with good snow!! With the heavy winter that we had, yet again the powder was thick and the skiing was fun! One of the attendants told us they hadn't had to make snow for several weeks and you could tell. :)

There was a little accident on the way in. One of our crew didn't realize that snow made you slide. :) |

The truck wasn't able to move in any direction, so we had to put our butts on the rail and push the truck out of the ditch. :) |

The guy down below in the cow suit was quite a trip. You are leisurely skiing down the slop and a cow skis by. We had to catch him on camera! |

Justin, Greg and Jason wanted to try snow boarding instead of skiing. It gave us all a great bit of entertainment. We skied behind them and took pictures as they fell. :) |

Ok so we had ton of fun at the guys expense. Mainly because we knew that we would be on the ground just as much or more if it were us trying to snow board. hehe |

It was lots of fun and unfortunately no one was there to catch Jeff and I smacking into each other and breaking his ski. We learned from that to never ski next to each other, always have one person in front and of the other... OUCH! He borrowed one of the snowboarders ski for a while and we kept skiing until we were about to fall over from exhaustion. :) Danielle went and skied the other blacks that were twisty turns instead of steep hills. I think she and I are both ready for harder hills next year in Colorado. |
